The walls are paper thin. I could hear every cough and toilet flush from the next room. The continental breakfast left much to be desired—bagels either straight from the freezer or stale. Add in a worn-out carpet and insufficient heating, and the room felt cold despite cranking up the heat.

We had a great time staying here with friends! We explored the beautiful Emiquon wetlands and visited a new winery nearby. The rooms were clean, and the staff was super friendly. We loved the unique decor and the rustic vibe of the lodge. Breakfast was a nice bonus too!

One downside was that the first room we were given was really small, and we could hear a lot of noise from outside. We switched rooms, which was nice, but it cost us a bit extra.
